This specification covers columbium in the form of sheet strip plate and foil. This material has been used typically for parts requiring exposure to ultra-high temperatures but usage is not limited to such applications. Applications in oxidizing atmospheres necessitate a protective coating. Although produced in the cold rolled condition this material is intended to be used in the annealed condition.
