SAE AMS4062J – Aluminum Alloy Drawn Seamless Round Tubing (1100-H14) Strain Hardened

This specification has been declared “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division SAE as of July 2007 and has been superseded by ASTM B 210 Alloy 1100 Temper H14. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 210 Alloy 1100 Temper H14 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS 4062H. By this action this been superseded by ASTM B 210 Alloy 1100 Temper H14.

This specification covers aluminum in the form of seamless drawn round tubing. Primarily for parts such as brackets conduits and low-pressure lines where good weldability and resistance to corrosion are required.
