SAE AMS4065K – Aluminum Alloy Drawn Seamless Tubing 1.2Mn – 0.12Cu (3003-O) Annealed

This specification has been declared “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division SAE as of July 2007 and has been superseded by ASTM B 210 Alloy 3003 Temper 0. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 210 Alloy 3003 Temper 0 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS 4065J. By this action this been superseded by ASTM B 210 Alloy 3003 Temper 0.

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of drawn seamless tubing.

This tubing has been used typically for parts requiring low strength and good formability but usage is not limited to such applications.
