This specification covers a precipitation-hardenable corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of sheet strip and plate.

These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength up to 1300 mDF (704 mDC) and oxidation resistance up to 1500 mDF (816 mDC) particularly those which are welded and then heat treated to develop required properties but usage is not limited to such applications.
