SAE AMSQQA225/3A – Aluminum Alloy Bar Rod and Wire Rolled Drawn or Cold Finished 2011

This specification has been declared “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division SAE as of June 2007 and has been superseded by ASTM B 211 alloy 2011. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 211 for alloy 2011 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS-QQ-A-225/3. By this action this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of the Index of Aerospace Material Specifications noting that it has been superseded by alloy 2011 of ASTM B 211.

This specification covers the specific requirements for aluminum alloy 2011 bar rod and wire produced by rolling drawing or cold finishing.
