SAE AMSQQA225/7A – Aluminum Alloy Bar Rod and Wire Rolled Drawn or Cold Finished 5052

This specification has been declared CANCELLED by the Aerospace Materials Division SAE as of August 2007 and has been superseded by ASTM B 211 alloy 5052. The requirements of the latest issue of ASTM B 211 for alloy 5052 shall be fulfilled whenever reference is made to the cancelled AMS-QQ-A-225/7. By this action this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of the Index of Aerospace Material Specifications noting that it has been superseded by alloy 5052 of ASTM B 211.

This specification covers the specific requirements for 5052 aluminum alloy bar rod and wire produced by rolling drawing or cold finishing.
